THUNDERBOLT 40/70 SB is a deck-mounted naval gun developed by ERMAKSAN for naval platforms. With its on-mount magazine system, single-barrel configuration is lighter and more compact compared to the twin-barrel variant. It offers an ideal solution for low-tonnage boats and coast guard vessels. Featuring a rigid turret design with low radar cross-section, the system stands out with low weight and dimensions, high rate of fire, fully automatic operation, high firing accuracy and short reaction time. Fully automatic target detection, tracking and engagement is integrated, with Combat Management System interoperability.
