Description
The 81mm Breech-Loading Mortar (SM-81) and Fire Control System is a mortar weapon system designed by ERMAKSAN/SAVER and prototyped with over 90% local content. With breech (wedge) loading and a recoil mechanism, it features direct-fire capability. Suitable for outpost, base, vehicle-mounted and armoured-vehicle integration, the system offers 360° firing capability. The Fire Control System is equipped with a 10.1" display, digital map, ballistic computation, ADOP 2000 compliance, 6,000 m laser range finder, 8× optical sight and optional thermal scope. Easy to train and operate, the system delivers effective fire support on the modern battlefield.
